Aaaaaand that's all for today, guys! The epilogue ends here and the prequel will START from here... which will be in the printed version of the book that I hope to make using Kickstarter!
So YEAH! Check back here for that Kickstarter so you can get a copy of Silver to HOLD. IN. YOUR. HANDS. HOORAY! \o/
Also I will be doing miscellaneous Silver art here and there (500 subs? YAY!) along the way... and I'll be announcing my big NEXT comic that will debut on ComicFury! (It's gonna be good!) So please stick around for that!
I also want to say thank you all so much for your support throughout all of this. SIX YEARS and I have the drive to try to get this thing in print only because you guys were there with your wonderful comments and support. THANK YOU SO MUCH! <3
Congratulations! Seriously, amazing work. I know I've kind of given up on commenting lately, but rest assured, I've been reading every single page and loved them all. You've done such an amazing job with this; six years of hard work, art, and storytelling has brought us this wonderful tale, and I can't wait to read the prequel in the physical copy.
A physical copy of Silver. That's going to be amazing. Even without the prequel it'd be amazing, but with it? TRIPLE POINTS!
Yes, adding a prequel is worth double the points of the main story. I don't make the rules. XD
It's been amazing, it really has. I know I came in late - what's it been, two years now? - but those two years have been spectacular. I've loved reading the story and giving commentary on everything from artwork to story theories. Guessing the events of the story before they take place has been such fun - after all, you can't do that if the story isn't well written! And I'd very much like to thank you once again (and probably for the rest of my life, let's be honest here) for letting me create Elliot and then bombard you with all the fanfiction, because it's been such a treat and I'm beyond thrilled that you liked her enough to actually include her in canon. I just. I have no words. Thank you so incredibly much.
And thank you just for making Silver. It's clearly been a labor of love, and a labor of skill and talent and hard work. And it's incredible. And I love it. And I cannot wait to hold the physical copy in my hands. And that next big comic you're gonna do? I can't wait for that either. Expect all the fanfiction for that too. It's how I show story love. :]
(And that Silver novel I mentioned approximately five hundred years ago? Yeah, that's still a thing. Just so you know. :])
Magnificent, wondrous, amazing, incredible, fantastic work, Alicia. It's been an honor and a pleasure.
Aw, thank you so much! That's such an amazing message to come here and see... it really does motivate and inspire me. <3 Seriously, this comic and this story would have stopped years ago without kind words like yours to fuel the first under my butt. Seriously, thank you.
I apologize that I didn't comment often in the comic. I've been busy with a lot of stuff, but I had to make I commented here.
Wow. Congrats on six years! My own comic will be hitting five years this September, so I know it's quite an achievement to have one's comic hit yearly anniversaries.
And good luck with publishing your comic. I don't think I could do such a thing for my own (mainly cause the early comic pages of mine look kinda bad to me now. LOL)
But I can totally see Silver working out in print form.
I'm so happy for you, Alicia. You deserve 500 subs. This was an amazing comic. Good luck with the kickstarter. This is just the beginning for you. There is so much more in store. Get ready!!!!!!
Please keep us updated about everything here.
The Prequel will be everything!! :D
Another comic project?!
I can't wait for another comic from you. Any hints about what the comic entails? I'm dying to know!!!
Thank you, alston! You've been a huge motivator for me! <3
And yeah, the next project will be in COLOR (oooh shiny!) and will be about pirates! And, oh yeah, Serpy and I are collabing the whole comic together. :3 I'm mucho excited!
Well color me intrigued. Can't wait to find out more about the history here.
Also, congratulations are in order. For the finished comic, for 500 subs, for the potential printed version, and for anything else I may have missed :)
Hffdkk wow I totally missed this, sorry >.>
(Aaaa I wish I could do the Kickstarter but alas, I have no monies D:)
And hey, congrats on six years!!! You've made it to the end of the story, which is no small feat, as so many comic artists give up along the way. So well done!!
And given that I'm just starting out my comic, well.... I think the fact that you've made it through yours is admirable :D
Thanks for the awesome story!! (and looking forward to more!) :D
Like all of the other talented creatives I've come across, it looks like this was the start of something amazing for you, Alicia. I missed all the fun as your posted it, but I'm glad you keep your story here for those of us who find our way here afterward. Your work, it's heartwarming and True, which is my way of conveying how well I think you did capturing the essence of some very human-feeling characters in such a short space of time. I am humbled and thankful for you sharing your labor of love, it takes courage and fortitude to accomplish what you did, never forget that, okay?
I'll have to see if I can find more of your work to enjoy, but if not, well, I hope you and your family are well, wherever you may be. Good Bless you, kind lady, and may you continue to be a joy to those around you with your creativity and kindness.
Aww I'm touched by this comment even though it has nothin to do with me LOL... so much so I felt compelled to say something
But you're absolutely right and I agree wholeheartedly. Alicia is a talented storyteller and great at capturing the essence of a character indeed <3. I know all this thoughtful feedback will make her day ^_^
No really though. Thank you for your kind words. <3 This comic was my very first attempt at telling a story and it has taught me a LOT. I am really eager to get to making more comics, once my life has settled down a bit and I can get back into a routine. Thank you so much!
You know I'm gonna be ALL over that Silver hard copy!!!!!
I'm so excited for this prequel and it's been a helluva ride so far! Great job telling this story, buddy! <3333 I'ts inspired me all along the way!
