And they lived happily ever after. :'D Haha and you guys were all worried.

A couple things to announce:

1st-- Today was Silver's Anniversary, so I updated with LOTS of pages, not just this one, so go back and read the entire last chapter if you haven't!

2nd-- I am going to be writing the Silver Prequel in the upcoming months, but I will be posting additional art on forums and such in the meantime. I would like to get Silver published in paper and include the prequel with it. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS KICKSTARTER, even a little, please let me know by show of hands so I can plan accordingly! :D

3rd-- THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! T_T I seriously would NOT have been able to make this comic had it not been for you guys helping me along and inspiring me! I've had to go through a LOT in the last few years and it would have been so easy to quit, but your guys' comments, fan art, and fan fic have sustained my desire to keep doing the thing I love. SO THANK YOU ALL! <3

Stay subscribed and I'll keep you all posted on what's going on next! Thanks again! YOU ARE ALL THE BEST! <3 <3 <3 <3

aw, i like this page. simple and pretty.

Oooh paper. I'd be interested in supporting that, if I can figure out how to use kickstarter haha.

Just wanna say well done for completing a story! Webcomics take so much time and effort and a lot never make it this far, but here it is! woo~
4th Apr 2018, 9:54 AM
Thank you, Jammy! I will also be figuring out how to use kickstarter, ha. XD

Archangel Daniel
I was thinking of what to write for the end for a while. So where do I start?

The beginning, I suppose. I don't remember how exactly I found the comic. Most likely, I was browsing through the site, and noticed an art style I liked, so i clicked, and I was into it immediately. Then I got to appreciate how you packed introductions of characters and main plot elements: not too short so it feels like it was just exposition shoved down your throat, and not too long so it feels like needlessly going into detail; it was just the right amount.

Throughout the whole comic, every now and then I felt like I knew where it was going, and then you give us a rather huge and pleasant surprise. And even the one or two things I saw coming a mile away were predictable for a very good reason, and I like when things are predictable for a good reason rather than being predictable merely for the sake of fulfilling some cliché.

I absolutely loved what you did with your characters. The main characters are kind of a ragtag bunch of misfits who are already established as true companions from the very start, which is something I don't see quite often, and you did it really well. All of them quirky, all of them have that one thing they can't do to save their lives, but get the job done, and, despite the bickering, they are all best friends. And then there is Abraham. I have seen a fair share of villains who are pretty unique on paper, yet rather similar at their core. Abraham is different at the core. He isn't out to conquer the world; he isn't out to be the absolute leader; he just wants werewolves to be in control of their transformed selves rather than the other way around. That is something I can perfectly understand, even though his methods are... questionable, to say the least.

If there is one thing i am somewhat bummed about not happening, it was werewolves not getting blown up in the church like on the train, because GOSH DANG it, it would have been a perfect setup for a “Sanctified With Dynamite” joke. Though, in retrospect, it would probably have ruined the pacing (and dynamite exploding in a church is not OK :) ), so I’m actually glad it went the way it did, even though I really wanted to make the joke in the comments :)

As for the conclusion, it pretty much DESTROYED nearly every cliché that was set up for happening, which is always a plus in my book (at least, unless it itself becomes a cliché at some point). Abraham did himself in rather than having the same old epic climactic battle (don’t get me wrong, I like epic climactic battles, but it is nice to have changes every now and again), Annabelle didn’t think about the consequences of breaking the crystal long enough for someone to mess up, the villain didn’t succeed only for the heroes to reverse the success, all in all, a satisfying ending. And the ambiguity of whose grave it was at the end was a nice touch. I like that when it is done well.

That being said, there are still some lingering questions which I would really like answered (most of all, what is the exact nature of the crystal and that place where werewolf blood was supposed to be spilled). I hope we see that in the prequel or, if not there, somewhere else :)

Well I certainly had a blast. I absolutely love your style, and I definitely want to see what comes next (seriously, I had the comic homepage on my browser’s homepage all this time :D ). Also, your pacing to detail ratio is so good, now that I have an idea how to pace things, it actually motivated me to, after finishing university, start something of my own :)

And I would love to support you on Kickstarter, but I have some quirks to figure out first (mostly the “still finishing university” part), but if I can, I’ll certainly help out!

All in all, it was one heck of a ride! Waiting for the next train right here!

AH! Thank you so much for the wonderful comment! I always love reading these and getting all of the feedback I can! It's this kind of thing that inspires me to keep working despite setbacks. And I'm excited to hear that you are inspired to make your own thing once you finish up school. That's so cool! You'll have to PM me and let me know when/where I can find it. :3

As far as what we will be finding out in the prequel... there are SO MANY things I wanted to touch on-- Takoda's history and what happened to his son, Lyle and how he died, how Abraham became a werewolf and who this mysterious "her" is that Abraham brings up as he's dying. But, alas, I have to cut out some things. X'D Gotta keep the prequel roughly half the size of the main comic-- that's my goal anyway.

Thank you so much! I'm excited to get this prequel going and then a WHOLE 'nother comic after that. ^_^

Whoa. The End!?

Congrats on finishing your comic, Alicia. Not many webcomic creators can say they finished a webcomic very often I notice, so to see one such as yours be seen through to the end is heartwarming.

Should be interesting to see what you put out next here. XD
4th Apr 2018, 10:01 AM
Thank you! Yes, I couldn't believe it when I realized I was reaching the end of the comic. Still seems crazy that I have one entire comic under my belt. XD
2nd Feb 2018, 12:49 AM
Nice ending :) Congrats on finishing this thing Alicia ^^

Thank you, Jarvi! <3

The Accidental Ninja
Alicia, congratulations on finishing this! It is such a major accomplishment!
I came way late to the party; I found your story because I accidentally clicked on your username over in the Serpamia Flare comment section, I think x'D But I'm very glad I found it. The story is simple, both in number of plotlines and in art style (which is a compliment, by the way, I'm not trying to say you didn't put a lot of effort into this, which I know you did), and that's precisely what allows the characters shine through so much.
It's a great story. Congratulations!
4th Apr 2018, 10:03 AM
Thank you so much!

Haha through accidentally clicking on my name at Serpamia Flare? XD I need to comment over there more often, and not just for the accidental clicks either, lol.
2nd Feb 2018, 7:21 PM
... Did you literally just empty out your comic buffer on the anniversary!?
4th Apr 2018, 10:03 AM

Only... it wasn't a buffer so much as me just bustin' my butt off for a week and a half trying to get these pages done in time, lol.
6th Feb 2018, 8:00 PM
This is how to write a story. There were ups and downs. Tension. Great characters. Twists and turns. Surprises. And yet a happy ending that feels deserved (earned by the characters through trial and hardship) and not forced.

This is how to do artwork. Clean and beautiful, with good 'camera angles' and the right mix of tight and wide shots, shade and dashes of color.

This entire thing should be turned into a hardcover OGN or something. I would totally buy it. And I bet it would sell really well once word of mouth got going.
4th Apr 2018, 10:04 AM
Thank you so much! I really wonder how well or not well Silver would sell in a commercial setting. XD I just need a new cover that really shows off some art skill... I think. x_x I hope.
7th Feb 2018, 11:18 AM
I would be interested in the kickstarter
4th Apr 2018, 10:05 AM
Thank you for letting me know! Once I finish writing the prequel and figure out how to use Kickstarter, I will let you know! <3
8th Feb 2018, 12:39 AM
Just went through my dA and saw you completed the comic! Congratulations! I held off on reading it until completion since I felt the inconsistent updates were breaking the tension of these last few scenes. But now that it's done, I've gone back and read the end. You must be so proud to finally finish--it's a great accomplishment! I would highly encourage printing it--it's not that expensive on and it's so, so nice to have a physical copy in your hands :) You could even make money off of sales without having to commit to buying a bunch of pre-printed copies! Best of luck!
4th Apr 2018, 10:06 AM
Thank you, Proxy! You can bet I'll be going straight to you with printing advice! I was so happy to hold your printed comic in my hands... and it was so nice!
4th Apr 2018, 10:01 AM
LOL The fact that there is emotion though... it makes me happy! ^_^
