Anabelle, silly, there was very easy way to stop him! Tackle-hug him from behind so that he can't move!!

OK, Time for plan "B". We set up the rube Goldberg here... The cannon ball can roll down the ramp and hit the plank that has a flaming torch balance on the other end, and the torch will fly in the air and light up the....

Why is everyone looking at me like that?!?!?!

LOL Yeah, not sure that would work out so great, considering "just shoot it from far away" wasn't good enough.

Theory: Uf crystal breaks and everyone is a wolf, they stay wolves forever, same if they are humans and it breaks. So maybe it breaks and they gotta hunt down a massive wolf attack ;)

It was never going to be that easy. Murphy's Law and all that - or maybe we should just call it the Plot Law instead. Anything that can ruin the protagonists' day or make their lives more difficult will inevitably happen. Because plot!

Besides, Takoda's dream had Annabelle breaking the crystal, not some fancy-schmancy sharpshooting. And as we know, his dream hasn't been wrong yet!

It's nice to see that Carson's not off being a total idiot. How refreshing~ (Why yes, I DO like picking on Carson. However did you guess? :D) In all seriousness, I'm glad they did cobble together an actual plan. And it's not a bad one, either! In fact, were it not for Plot's Law, it probably would have stood a decent chance of working! Oh well. The inevitable angst cannot be denied, I suppose.

....You could always just lasso Jeriah back. No? Darn. :/

I still appreciate the use of color to show off the red moon and crystal. And I love that the moon has turned the crystal red in the first place! It's a great way to show that it's now fragile and also apparently super powerful.

Or maybe it's red because of the blood of werewolves it's been dunked in... hm...

Both. Both sounds good. I'm gonna go with both.

That last panel. It's almost chill inducing; it's so VERY clear who is in charge in that panel - and equally clear that Jeriah is very unhappy with the situation. Expressive eyebrows for the win~ And the composition of the panels just emphasizes the pack structure here, what with how Abraham's head intrudes on the panel above it, putting him above and in front of everyone. Nicely done.

Thank you! It's always so much fun to read your comments! ^.^

It's funny how you should mention Carson NOT being a complete idiot, because he's about the change that in 3, 2... 1...

I had a lot of fun drawing that last panel. Abraham's expression came so naturally to draw too. I knew all along JUST what look he was going to have when this happened. XD
